Cultivating Your Professional Brand - Join Us LIVE on Oct. 26!

During my senior year of college, I had an “epiphany” during my full-time job search.  Through the process of trying to differentiate myself from others and position myself for certain jobs, I was actually “branding” myself to prospective employers.  At that time, everyone used the same general terms about themselves - “self starter”, “results-oriented”, and “purpose driven” being some of the most popular.  I wanted to be more specific and show how I embodied certain traits that would be particularly useful in my desired field, which inadvertently led me down the path of personal branding. Over the last thirteen years, I’ve appreciated the way that my personal branding has helped me focus on the right career decisions and how it’s enabled me to improve my ability to hire people for specific jobs.

Are you also looking to cultivate your personal brand?  To leave a positive, lasting impression on everyone with whom you interact?  If so, please join Mariah Grumet, founder of Old Soul Etiquette, and me for an interactive and engaging *free* event to help you make a bold entrance into the workplace.

What will we talk about?

  • The 3 V’s of making a positive first impression
  • How to start building your personal brand
  • The importance of active listening (and how to do it effectively)!

Along with a primer on soft skills from Mariah, I will preview my new Fall Collection of women’s workwear and accessories, perfect whether you are working from home or in the office.

While this event is focused on early and mid-careerists, everyone is welcome and the topics that will be covered are relevant for any career stage.

Also, in honor of October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Mariah and I will be donating 10% of sales profits from the events to METAvivor. METAvivor is dedicated to the specific fight of women and men living with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. METAvivor exists to sustain hope for those living with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer (MBC). It is a volunteer-led, non-profit organization that funds vital research to help improve the longevity and quality of life for MBC patients. Passionately committed patients themselves, METAvivor rallies public attention to the urgent needs of the MBC community, helping patients find strength through support and purpose, and make every dollar count as they work with researchers to extend and improve quality of life for MBC patients.

Space is limited!  Please use this link to register and secure your spot on October 26.  We would love to see you there
